‘How To Catch a Leprechaun’ on Saturday December 22 & 29 at The Keegan Theatre by Mario Baldessari

What’s red and green and has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas?

Why, it’s Oillin the leprechaun in How To Catch a Leprechaun – a new, all-ages musical that I wrote with my pal, Ethan Slater.

On Saturday, Dec. 22, and Saturday, Dec. 29, The Keegan Theatre is holding an encore reading/singing of this fun-for-the-whole-family comedy that promises to be Erin go bwah-ha-ha! The play debuted earlier this year at The Kennedy Center Page To Stage Festival.

The reading will be followed by theater games and refreshments for the wee ones. Admission is $5.00.

Chris Aldridge plays the minstrel with his heart set on finding a leprechaun. Colin Smith and Sally Frakes Cusenza play the proprietors of Mulligan’s Pub, where they dispense free leprechaun-catching advice and green lemonade. And Josh Sticklin plays the Leprechaun. Dan Deiter is on guitar. And Megan Thrift directs.

The readings begin at 11 am each Saturday.

The Keegan Theatre is located at 1742 Church Street, NW, in Washington, DC, a short walk from the Dupont Circle Metro on the Red Line.

Fun for the wee ones (and tall ones too!)
