Howard Community College’s Arts Collective (AC) – Over the past 18 years AC has come together, building rich, long-lasting connections, sharing stories between AUDIENCE AND PERFORMER, on and off the stage. This year, folks will experience together a new season bursting with INSPIRED, POWERFUL WORKS wrapped up in COMPELLING literature, music, and dance; A MASTERFUL COLLECTION which promises to hold up the mirror to all of our lives. AC’s 19th Season will bring you the EVOCATIVE AND THE ORIGINAL, fusing stellar work from students and professionals, and all in between. HCC’s Arts Collective proudly kicks off its 19 Season THIS FRIDAY with its wildly unique improv troupe, “What Improv Group?!?!” (W.I.G.), Friday, September 27 at 8pm in HCC’s Smith Theatre!
Now in its fifth year, W.I.G. promises an improv journey that’s always spontaneous, high on audience participation, and seriously funny. This Friday’s W.I.G. show includes W.I.G. favorites (Keith Becraft, Keri Eastridge, Daniel Johnston, and Kathleen Williams), joined by special guest artists: CheriAnn, a stand-up comic who’ll shake up a fresh take on stand-up comedy! “Bluntly pointing out the hilarious truth of everyday life!” and Quattro Formaggio: A long form improvisational troupe from Frederick, MD, coached by Joe Brady, featuring Isabel Duarte, Giovanni Kavota and Cassie Schaeffer!
