Meet John Doe, the award-winning musical by Andrew Gerle and Eddie Sugarman, will be released in November on the Broadway Records label. The show received its world premiere in 2007 at the Ford’s Theatre in DC, winning leading lady Heidi Blickenstaff and Director Eric Schaeffer Helen Hayes Awards and garnering 7 more nominations.
The album will feature Blickenstaff as reporter Ann Mitchell, James Moye as John and Joel Blum as “The Colonel,” all from the Ford’s production. Joining them will be Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli as newspaper D.B. Norton, John Jellison, and Andrew Keenan-Bolger.
