Adventure Theatre MTC Cancels Performance Today of ‘Goodnight Moon’ and Relocates to Rockville Location

Due to the government shutdown, Adventure Theatre MTC has temporarily moved its operations to its Wintergreen Plaza location-837-D Rockville Pike, in Rockville. MD.

Relocation information about classes and camps will be posted each morning, and immediate box office needs will be handled at the temporary box office number, (301) 251-5766 x22.

Today’s performance of ATMTC’s Goodnight Moon is cancelled.

Complimentary box office exchanges will be handled at the temporary box office number, (301) 251-5766 x22 or by e-mailing [email protected] with your full name, confirmation number (if available), current performance time/date, and preferred time/date to exchange.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation from Vendini.com when your tickets have been exchanged. Although we hope the shutdown will be resolved soon, Adventure Theatre MTC is looking into other arrangements if it continues long-term, and you will be notified via e-mail of any location change or added performances.

If you choose not to exchange your tickets by October 18th, we will consider those tickets a donation to the theatre, and an e-mail acknowledging your donation will be sent to you.

Any performances affected by the shutdown will be announced the morning of the performance on the Adventure Theatre MTC website, and on ATMTC’s Facebook and Twitter.

Adventure Theatre MTC, a 501c3 organization, has cancelled all of TODAY -October 9th’s performances of the highly acclaimed Goodnight Moon. Adventure Theatre MTC receives no federal funding, but is located on National Park Grounds in historic Glen Echo Park. All office operations are temporarily moved to its Academy location in Wintergreen Plaza (Rockville, MD). Complimentary exchanges will be accepted by e-mailing [email protected] with the order number and preferred time/date of the exchange or by calling the temporary box office, (301) 251-5766 x22.

 “Our hearts go out to other organizations and families affected by the shutdown,” says Michael J. Bobbitt, Producing Artistic Director of Adventure Theatre MTC and Choreographer of Goodnight Moon. “We are currently looking into added performances and new opportunities for relocating the show. This shutdown has the prospect or doing great harm to the organization financially, and we hope the issue is resolved soon.”
