“Arena Stage is hosting the next of what we hope to be regular job fairs for our community in order to create an opportunity for local businesses to meet local talent. In the same way we are committed to creating new art for our city in the Mead Center, we feel a real sense of civic duty and pride in creating a similar forum for our citizens who are looking for employment or for a way to upgrade the jobs they already enjoy.”

Arena Stage Executive Producer Edgar Dobie

“Our government needs to be committed day in and day out to working with our local and regional businesses to create and expand job opportunities, improving education and career training programs and fighting to place unemployed and under employed residents into quality jobs. That is what this job fair is all about—connect District residents with our growing industries. That is how we will build a great city for everyone to live, work and raise a family.”

Ward 6 Councilmember Tommy Wells
