Award-winning actress Mara Bayewitz stars in the world premiere of Dolley Madison: Presidentress. She treats the audience to Dolley Madison’s life story by portraying the funny, warm, and sometimes bawdy First Lady as a teenager in Quaker gray, a young woman with her eye on a dashing lawyer, a mother who experiences unimaginable loss, and a wife who is madly in love with her shy, quiet, “Little” James Madison. You’ll also meet several other people along the way, including the warm and loving Martha Washington and the cold, judgmental wife of the British ambassador. Don’t miss this spectacular one-act, one-woman play, one weekend only!
