ADVENTURE THEATRE MTC ANNOUNCES THE CAST OF OLIVER!
FEATURES YOUTH PERFORMERS AND HELEN HAYES AWARD RECIPIENTS & NOMINEES
Adventure Theatre MTC is thrilled to announce the cast of this summer’s OLIVER!, ATMTC’s two-act steampunk reimagining of the musical by Lionel Bart.
Actors Melynda Burdette, Marni Ratner, Keith Richards, Danny Pushkin, Greg Twomey, Jennie Lutz, Kelsea Edgerly, Melrose Pyne, Rick Westerkamp, and Sean Elias join Helen Hayes Award recognized actors Felicia Curry and Rick Hammerly.
Additionally, the cast features several youth performers and ATMTC students including Franco Cabanas as Oliver and Goodnight Moon’s Jake Foster as The Artful Dodger.
“I’m thrilled to be able to be working with this incredible ensemble in this re-imagined version of OLIVER!,” says Director Joseph Ritsch, Co-Producing Artistic Director for Rep Stage. “The cast includes some of the best talent in the region. Existing fans of the musical will be delightfully surprised, and newcomers to the show will be as equally enthralled.”
OLIVER! is being directed by Joseph Ritsch and Musical Directed by William Yanesh and choreographed by Helen Hayes Award Recipient Rachel Leigh Dolan. All performances will take place at Round House Theatre in Bethesda, MD July 24- August 16, 2015.
