Vagabond Players Opens 100th Season with ‘Greater Tuna’ on September 4th

The Vagabond Players, America’s oldest continuously operating little theatre, proudly opens its 100th Season with the larger than real life comedy, Greater Tuna on September 4, 2015, and running weekends through September 27th.

Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard and directed by Anthony Lane Hinkle, this production promises to start off this historic season with a very Big Bang!

Steven Shriner and Brian M. Kehoe portray twenty dysfunctional citizens of Greater Tuna, proudly the third smallest town in Texas. They play them all: bigots, zealots, hippies, sheriffs, you name its.The audience can hardly breath from laughing.

Greater Tuna was a tremendous hit  during the Vagabonds’ 81st season in 1996-97, and it is sure to be a repeat blockbuster. Put on your hat and get ye to the show.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM, and Sunday at 2:00 PM.

Tickets can be purchased online, or at the door ($15-$20). Special rates for groups are available on line. Friday night performances feature special pricing of $15 for everyone, plus there is a $10 Thursday on Broadway! performance on September 24th.
