On Wednesday, October 28th, YAA will welcome Tony and Grammy nominated Broadway composer, ANDREW LIPPA (Big Fish, Addams Family, The Wild Party.)

In the afternoon, Andrew will work in a masterclass with cast members from our upcoming production of Jekyll & Hyde in Concert.  Students will perform music from Andrew’s own shows, including john & jen, A Little Princess, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Wild Party and Big Fish.

In the evening, students in our smaller YAA Select ensemble will perform with Andrew at a fundraiser for Strathmore’s upcoming world premiere production of I Am Anne Hutchinson / I Am Harvey Milk.

YAA Select students will perform Lippa’s anti-bullying anthem, It Gets Better with Andrew at the piano.
