We will be begin announcing announcing our ‘Best of 2015 DCMTA Honors’ tomorrow.
Because we will have reviewed over 1,450 shows/concerts/dance in 2015, there is a lot to choose from and to honor.
But first, let’s look back at our 2014 DCMTA honorees and congratulate them once again for their fine work. Lots of great memories in these lists.

We have over 100 reviewers who saw and wrote reviews in 2015 on DCMTA in DC, MD, VA, NYC, and Philadelphia.
We are honoring our favorite performances, design, direction, cabaret, in professional, community, children’s, university, high school, training programs, and so much more.
There are no nominations, no voting, no stuffing of ballot boxes by friends and family and people who never saw the shows or concerts. These are honors from people who were there.
These are honors by a staff of writers at DCMetroTheaterArts who saw more shows and concerts than any other theater/arts reviewing site in this area in 2015, and who want to honor their personal favorites and say: “Bravo! or ‘Brava’!
And these lists of honorees will be long because we were very fortunate to have seen a lot of great work in 2015.
