Joel Markowitz
Joel Markowitz is the Publisher and Editor of DCMetroTheaterArts. He founded the site with his brother Bruce to help promote the vast riches of theatre and the arts in the DC Metro area that includes Maryland, Virginia, and DC theater and music venues, universities, schools, Children's theaters, professional, and community theatres.   1. First of all, even with all the misogyny and stereotyping it’s a FUNNY play. And you can detect Katarina’s sarcasm when she says “If you say it is the moon, it’ll be the moon. If you say it is the sun, it’ll be the sun. If you say it is a rush candle, it’ll be a rush candle. But whatever you, Petruchio, say it is, so shall it be for Katarina.” She’s not dumb, but knows how to manage her husband…unlike all the other headstrong characters of both sexes, in the play.

    So enter me for the two tickets.
