Dark Times at Grimesville High: A Darkly Funny Take on the High School Musical
Everybody loves high school! Well, at least Olivia Hope (Tess Higgins) does. As a hard-hitting school journalist, valedictorian to be, and everybody’s third or fourth best friend, what’s not to love? Enter Peyton Hillridge (Brittany Martz), a devious mean girl with a plot to bring Olivia to rock bottom just in time for all of the best parts of high school: prom, graduation, and final exams. With catchy tunes, stellar starring ladies, and extremely creative cursing, Dark Times at Grimesville High will bring back all of the wonder and horror of the best legally mandated time of your life—high school.

About The Artist:
Rebecca Wahls is a theatre artist based in the DC area. Having worked on various productions with the Capital Fringe Festival since 2013 as an actor, director, and devisor, she decided to make the leap to self-producing Dark Times at Grimesville High this year. At college, she teamed up with Conor Kyle, playwright/composer/lyricist, and they are very excited to team up to bring this darkly funny musical to DC audiences.
