Young Artists of America Performs at The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage on February 27th; Tickets on Sale for ‘The Circle of Life: The Songs of Tim Rice in Concert’ at 4 PM at The Music Center at Strathmore

The only program of its kind, Young Artists of America at Strathmore presents symphonic theatrical productions featuring young performing artists from the Greater Washington, DC area alongside professional mentors.
On February 27th, they will have the honor of performing at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Millenium Stage. They will present highlights from their current 2016-2017 season, including selections from The Wizard of Oz, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Chess, and The Lion King.
The performance will be free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30 PM and the performance will run from 6 PM to 7 PM. Please note that here is no free parking for free events at The Kennedy Center. There is a free shuttle that leaves from The Foggy Bottom Metro.

Then on Sunday, March 12th, Young Artists of America at Strathmore will present The Circle of Life: The Songs of Tim Rice in Concert at 4 PM at The Music Center at Strathmore. This will be a World Premiere production created specifically for Young Artists of America featuring songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Aida, Chess, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King, devised and directed by Hugh Wooldridge, with the special participation of Sir Tim Rice.
