Charm City Ballet presents its original full-length ballet, The Little Mermaid, to be performed at The Gordon Center for Performing Arts, at 3506 Gwynbrook Ave in Owings Mills, for three shows: Saturday, June 9th at 1:30 pm, and 7:30 pm, AND on Sunday, June 10th at 3:00 pm. Ticket prices are: Adults $24 in advance; $26 at the door. Students/ children $18 in advance; $20 at the door.
Directors, founders, and choreographers of Charm City Ballet, Rebecca Friedman and Peter Commander, are 2009 graduates of Goucher College where they studied and performed in the highly regarded dance department with both faculty and renowned guest artists. Their productions are unique in that community dancers from all walks of life perform together in high-quality, original ballet versions of familiar tales.
Known to sell out their performances, CCB has received acclaim from local publications, has been consistently chosen as a ‘Baltimore Sun Critic’s Pick,’ and was included in DC Theater Metro Arts’ list, “Best of 2015-Memorable Dance in Baltimore & Beyond.” Tickets will go on sale beginning April 15.
