Broadway and Off-Broadway Nominations for the 2019 Chita Rivera Awards

The committees of the Chita Rivera Awards, named for the legendary star of such iconic Broadway hits as Chicago, Bye Bye Birdie, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and Nine, have announced their nominations for excellence in dance and choreography in the 2018-19 Broadway and Off-Broadway season.

Topping this year’s list of Broadway nominees is Kiss Me, Kate, with a total of five nominations, followed closely by Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations with four. Sharing the top honors for Off-Broadway are Alice by Heart and Smokey Joe’s Cafe, both with five.
