WATCH Award nominations announced for outstanding community theater

98 productions from 27 community theaters were adjudicated in 40 categories for 2020/2022. The award ceremony will be March 19.

The WATCH Awards (the Washington Area Theatre Community Honors) recognize outstanding achievements in community theater in the DC region. Nominations for the 2022 performance season were announced at the Birchmere on Sunday, January 15. This year’s nominations also include productions from 2020. Congratulations to all nominees!

Tickets to the award ceremony on Sunday, March 19, 2023 (7:30 pm), can be purchased online once made available. ($20 plus service fee)
