On Tuesday, May 28, the Off Broadway Alliance – an organization of Off-Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing professionals – announced the winners of its 13th Annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards. Honoring commercial and not-for-profit productions that opened Off-Broadway during the 2023-2024 season, the recipients were named in six competitive categories, in addition to recognizing the previously announced honorees for three special awards.
And the winners of the 2023-24 Off Broadway Alliance Awards are:
BEST NEW MUSICAL: Dead Outlaw
BEST NEW PLAY: Oh, Mary!
BEST REVIVAL: Tuesdays with Morrie
BEST SOLO PERFORMANCE: Wade McCollum in Make Me Gorgeous!
BEST UNIQUE THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE: Dungeons & Dragons The Twenty-Sided Tavern
BEST FAMILY SHOW: El Otro Oz
LEGEND OF OFF BROADWAY AWARD: Marylouise Burke; Len Cariou; Suzan-Lori Parks
