The Port City Playhouse 36th Annual Season

To apply, please submit all items listed below by:
7 pm on Monday, January 14, 2013.
Email all requested information in one email to: [email protected] and use the subject line, “Director Submittal 2013-2014.”
The submittal package must be in either MS Word or PDF format.
1. “Letter of Interest” stating a desire to direct at Port City Playhouse and which show(s) you are interested in and a basic concept for the stated show(s). Concept shall include:
-Overall vision for the show
-Technical aspects such as set, sound, lights, props, and special effects
-Special considerations such as the ability to bring aboard a production team
2. A current resume that includes all productions directed, including location and year and current contact information (phone and email address mandatory). Relevant theatre experience may be included as well as additional support materials.
3. Any possible schedule conflicts that may exist during the pre-production, tech week, production, and performance dates of the show(s) of interest. In general, the Fall production auditions in July and performs in Sept, the late Fall production auditions in Sept and performs in Nov, the Winter show auditions in Dec and performs in Feb, and the Spring show auditions in Feb and performs in April.
4. A list of 3-5 references familiar with the applicant’s past work. This list must be complete with the reference’s name, address, and telephone number and email addresses should also be provided.
