Tomorrow – Friday night at 9 PM – PBS’ (Locally WETA) airs Dori Berinstein’s 90-minute documentary Marvin Hamlisch: What I He Did for Love, a loving tribute to to Composer Marvin Hamlisch, who died in August 2012 at age 68. The film examines his musical legacy and a side of Marvin that many people may not know about this Mensch-his generosity helping young musicians and actors, and so many friends and others.
But the best way to show you his work and wonderful personality is to offer you these clips from the documentary and other performances by this one-of-a-kind genius, who is sorely miss by all who knew him.
