Iron Crow Theatre Presents ‘The Revelation of Bobby Pritchard’ by Rich Espey

Iron Crow Theatre presents the world premiere of The Revelation of Bobby Pritchard. This poignant and lyrical new play from Maryland playwright Rich Espey, three-time winner of the Award for Best Play at the Baltimore Playwrights Festival, is a contemporary exploration of the clash between religious conviction and modern LGBTQ issues contained within the tumultuous dynamics of a typical American Family. Spurred on by vivid dreams of the late Bobby Pritchard, Marta returns to her childhood home, a rural and religious community she fled decades ago. Now, with her wife at her side, Marta encounters Hank, a brother she barely knows, and Oren, a nephew struggling with his sexuality. Tough decisions, painful secrets and shots fired make this a powerful new addition to Espey’s growing collection of acclaimed dramatic works.

Directed by Artistic Director, Steven J. Satta, this powerful new play is sure to grab heartstrings and inspire conversation.

Featuring Julie Herber, Sean Kelly, Dave Lasalle, Sarah Lynn Taylor (Company Member), Heather Peacock (Artistic Associate), and Susan Porter.

Costumes by Samantha Bloom, Lighting by Chris Flint, Set by Mollie Singer, Projections by Travis Lavasseur, Props by Nick Genna (Artistic Associate), Master Electrician is Tyler Gahs, Music composed by Jonathan Jensen & Abram Foster, and Stage Managed by Becca Adleberg.
