Join us THIS SUNDAY, March 29th for An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe by Robert Mason-the first of The Montgomery Playhouse Spotlight Series of staged readings presented in partnership with Arts on the Green at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn.

Enter the wonderfully creepy world of Edgar Allan Poe with six faithful adaptations of some of his most haunting works.

From old favorites such as “The Cask of Amontillado” and “The Tell-Tale Heart” to lesser known gems like “The Oblong Box” and “The System of Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether,” this collection of short plays represents Poe at his most horrifying.

Reading 3 is on June 14th: The Reluctant Dragon – by Ed Monk, based on the story by Kenneth Grahame.

Each performance will be followed by a short talkback with the audience.

Join us before the show and enjoy wine by the glass, Flying Dog beer, and non-alcoholic beverages in a bistro setting.

The Pub is open one hour before the show and during intermission.
