Evie: Readers may have seen me in shows with the Saint Andrew’s Players, Vienna Youth Players, or with Encore Stage. Shows I have been in include Annie Jr. (Annie), Mary Poppins (Ensemble), Fiddler on the Roof (Shprintze), and The Sound of Music (Gretl)

What is the play about from the point of view of your character? Have you enjoyed playing her?

Beth Bradley is an average girl who has a regular American family. I think that from the point of view of my character, the play is about how the Christmas pageant changes the Herdmans. I have really enjoyed playing Beth because I get to talk directly to the audience and I think that is really cool. Beth is important to the show because she tells it from her memory and narrates most of the show.

If you were granted one wish on Christmas what would it be?

If I were granted one wish on Christmas I would wish to be able to fly.

If you were granted one Christmas gift, what would you want?

If I were granted one Christmas gift it would be money I could send to Haiti with my church’s mission trip.

The holidays can be busy and there can be a lot of holiday shows to choose from. Why should people see this holiday production?

People should see Best Christmas Pageant Ever because it feels like a modern show that is funny, but still shows what Christmas is about, and it has a great cast who have been working really hard.

The proceeds of this show will support the Young Hearts Foundation. Can you tell us anything about Young Hearts? What does partnering with them mean to you?

The Young Hearts is a charity that is devoted to helping children and teenagers who have long term
diseases. They help raise awareness for these diseases and helping the families affected. Partnering with them is important to me because I think that it is a really good charity that is supporting an important cause.

How have you enjoyed working with the cast and crew of Providence Players?

I have loved working with the cast and crew because everyone is really talented and they are always nice.

What do you hope people will take away from seeing Best Christmas Pageant Ever?

I hope that people will understand more about what the Christmas story means and that, like the Herdman kids, anyone can change.
