Baltimore Center Stage’s 2025/26 season promises to be vibrant, visionary, and filled with powerful storytelling and boundary-pushing performances. Baltimore Center Stage Mainstage Productions
The Peculiar Patriot (Oct 15 – Nov 9, 2025) – This fearlessly funny, smart, provocative show is also timely and urgent as it unpacks the human impact of mass incarceration in America.
Santa Claus Is Comin’: A Motown Christmas Revue (Nov 6 – Jan 4, 2026) – This spirited show features classic holiday favorites, reimagined with the unmistakable sound of Motown legends — from Smokey Robinson to The Supremes.
Trinity (Feb 12 – Mar 8, 2026) – A searing, intimate drama by Emmy Award winner Lena
Waithe, marking her theatrical playwriting debut.
Holes (Apr 16 – May 10, 2026) – Adapted from the beloved Newbery Medal and National Book Award-winning novel by Louis Sachar, directed by Johanna Gruenhut. Holes is part mystery and part adventure, filling the stage with theatrical wonder and grit.
(pray) (Jun 13 – Jul 5, 2026) – This boundary-busting choreopoem is a kinetic and vibrant evening of song, dance, and fellowship, giving audiences the opportunity to reflect on their own beliefs.
New Play in Development
Canton Waterfront by Baltimore’s own Karen Li – Join Baltimore Center Stage for this workshop presentation on August 16 and 17, 2025, giving audiences “inside” access to the kind of groundbreaking new works that BCS has become known for in recent years. A story of immigrant life in Baltimore and the city’s trade connection with China going back hundreds of years, Canton Waterfront was developed in Lab410, Baltimore Center Stage’s local playwright’s residency.

Magic & Hypnosis featuring David Anthony (Sept 13, 2025) – David Anthony,
international award-winning entertainer, brings mind-blowing magic and laugh-out-loud comedy hypnosis to the stage in this fun-filled evening.
Cat Kid Comic Club, The Musical (Sept 26-28, 2025) – Cat Kid and Molly Pollywog have started an epic club to teach 21 rambunctious baby frogs how to make their own comics. Will creativity save the day? This madcap musical is based on Dav Pilkey’s irreverently hilarious book series.
The 10 Year Anniversary of Chocolate Covered Rocky Horror (Oct 31 & Nov 1, 2025) – Since 2015, this African American shadow-cast ensemble has thrilled, chilled, and fulfilled audiences. It is a tribute to Black Queer artforms and the horror genre.
