Solas Nua, Washington, DC’s premier contemporary Irish arts organization, announces the cast for the North American premiere of Lie Low by audience favorite and emerging Irish playwright, Ciara Elizabeth Smyth. Tickets are now on sale for this dark comedy — running November 6-23, 2025, at Atlas Performing Arts Center, directed by Solas Nua’s Artistic Director of Theatre, Rex Daugherty.
The cast includes highly-acclaimed DC actors Cody Nickell and Megan Graves. Nickell is a five-time Helen Hayes Award Nominee, and Graves — a two-time Helen Hayes Award nominee — has been named by The Washington Post as one of “DC’s Top 12 Stage Dynamo’s.” They previously appeared together in the celebrated production of The Tempest at Round House Theatre, with magic created by Teller. Graves also appeared in Solas Nua’s sold-out run of Wild Sky, directed by Daugherty.

The creative team includes Robert Bowen Smith (Choreography), Gisela Estrada (Scenic Design), Kenny Neal (Sound Design), Alberto Segarra (Lighting Design), Logan Benson (Costume Design), Lorraine Ressegger-Slone (Fights/Intimacy Director), Isabel deCarvalho (Prop Design), Isabella Tapia (Stage Manager), and Mekala Sridhar (Creative Producer).
Lie Low, presented by Solas Nua, runs November 6-23, 2025, at Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H St NE, Washington, DC 20002.
