DC Shorts Brings You Short Comedy Films and Stand-Up Comedy All in One Night with “DC Shorts Laughs”
DC Shorts Laughs – May 17- 18, 2013
Next Friday and Saturday – get ready to laugh out loud and giggle with hysterics because DC Shorts Laughs is returning.
A collection of hilarious and eclectic films from past DC Shorts Film Festivals will be shown May 17 and 18 at the U.S. Navy Memorial Heritage Center in Washington, DC.
The event will feature several of DC Shorts’ top comedies from previous festivals along with local comedians who will perform stand-up between the films. These comedians are all past winners of the Funniest Fed competition.
And, mark your calendars for the next DC Shorts events – back by popular demand June 28 and 29 is Pasties and Popcorn, a collection of sexy and titillating films from the DC Shorts archives. The event will feature DC Shorts’ favorite risqué films intermingled with live entertainment from DC’s premier variety show, Tilted Torch.
Summer is so close – so get ready for the giddy times ahead with some of the DC Short’s favortie comedy films – and live performances by the area’s top stand-up comedians from the famed Funniest Feds competition.
Arrive early and enjoy the LAUGHS BAR in the Heritage Center lobby. And make sure to grab an extra drink for the show. Double fisting is encouraged. This is the perfect opportunity to catch films you might have missed from past years – and whet your appetite for the DC Shorts Film Festival in September.
