What’s going on? I’m sure some of you read the article in the Capital Gazette about Bay Theatre Company returning and have some questions about it.
We most definitely are returning for what I call our “Triple Play”. What this means is that we have 3 events planned to jump start Bay Theatre Company’s new life.
Chesapeake Arts Center – 194 Hammonds Lane, in Brooklyn Park, MD -approached me this summer and suggested we stage a couple of projects there. It was an exciting prospect. It’s a different challenge to continue to run a theatre without our own dedicated space. But it is possible … with the help of others.
This experiment is aimed at a “win” for everyone. Bay Theatre Company will help invigorate the Chesapeake Arts Center and it’s surrounding community. Chesapeake Arts Center will help Bay with a great performance space to produce Bay Theatre quality productions. It’s a terrific location … an easy drive from Annapolis and all of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Howard Counties, and Baltimore City.
I’m asking you to follow us there for just two events … so you can see why we’re so pleased and excited. The first is the reading of Love Loss and What I Wore on Monday, November 4th at 7 PM and the full performance of Bad Dates for 9 shows in January. Come to one or all 3! Your continued support and love of theatre will be the key to making this a “go and a win” for Bay Theatre. Thanks for your encouragement and support – it has made this new start possible. You are the key to the future. Thanks you so much for making it a possibility. We will be sending out our notices shortly with all the information you need. But just to recap:
