Please help the audition process to run more smoothly by completing an audition form in advance (available here), and bring it with you to the audition. Headshots and resumes are not required, but encouraged.

Please be sure to fill out the calendar of all known scheduling conflicts for the run of each show in which you are interested. All rehearsals will be held either on weekday evenings (7:30-10) or during the day on weekends (times may vary). No scheduling conflicts will be accepted during the week leading up to the opening performance of a production.

Callbacks are by invitation only, and will only be held for roles as necessary. All roles are open and unpaid. Callback materials will be made available on this site prior to callbacks.

If cast, you will be required to become a member of The Victorian Lyric Opera Company (dues: $25 for adults, $15 for those 17 and younger). You will be asked to provide your own shoes, and occasionally other supplemental clothing items for your costume (tights, socks and other basic wardrobe items). You will occasionally be asked to assist with set construction, painting, costume construction, gathering of props, and other normal community theatre activities that go into making a fabulous performance.

Please note: If you have worked with the directors before, you may sign up to be considered for a spot in the chorus using the audition sign up form (select: “I will not be auditioning, but would like to be considered for chorus”). Please note, casting will be limited to a number we can reasonably maneuver on stage, and signing up does not guarantee you will be cast. You must submit all of your schedule conflicts for consideration.
