140128_wnn_pete_seeger_obit_16x9_992 (1)petebiopixPete Seeger, one of my heroes, died yesterday at Age 94. I am a huge Weavers fan and I listen to their LPS, cassettes, and CDs all the time. He was such a gentle man who believed in spreading positive messages in his songs and performances and mentored so many folk singers of the future. he introduced children to folk songs and was one of the greatest banjo players ever. Someone like Pete Seeger only comes once in a lifetime and his musical legacy will live on forever.

Enjoy these wonderful videos of Pete with the Weavers, in concert, and watch a wonderful documentary on the history and a special reunion of The Weavers.
