INTRODUCING QUACKENSTEELE THEATRE COMPANY, LLC
Contemporary. Compelling. Challenging. Those are the three C’s newly formed QUACKENSTEELE THEATRE COMPANY, LLC hopes to thrive by. Founded by Laura Quackenbush and Lou Steele, QTC is the newest, professional theatre company in the MD/DC/NOVA area. Having been immersed in the NYC theatre scene for over a decade QTC Co-Founders wondered how they would continue to feed their artistic fire in Alexandria. They found a wonderful, thriving theatre community across the DC/NOVA area…a community they couldn’t wait to become a part of. Inspired by friends and family, and most of all…each other, they decided to start their own company.
QuackenSteele Theatre Company believes in producing theatre that challenges the realms of social abnormalities. By bringing the likes of Jonathan Larson and A. R. Gurney to the stage, QTC hopes to break the mold with edgy, relative, contemporary work that attracts all walks of life.
With their inaugural production of tick, tick…BOOM! opening May 30th at The Lab at Convergence, QTC hopes to open the hearts and minds of the Alexandria community as well as the amazing MD/DC/NOVA theatre community with this fascinating show.
Starring Lou Steele as Jonathan, Madeline Botteri as Susan, and David Little as Michael – tick, tick…BOOM! will move you. With direction by Walter Ware III and Musical Direction by Joel DeCandio, audiences will get a fresh taste of raw musical theatre.

With a common passion for theatre and the arts, the members of QuackenSteele Theatre Company LLC strive to produce extradorinary and compelling works of art.
