Capital Fringe Basics: How To Buy Tickets and More

Tickets are now on sale so it's time to get Fringing, DC!

Tickets are on sale now for the 2019 Capital Fringe Festival bringing over 500 individual performances, 89 productions, and five Capital Fringe curated shows across 13 stages in Southwest DC. Do not miss your chance to engage, contemplate or just let loose with an exciting month of theatre, dance, music, and art at one of the largest and most unfiltered DC festivals yet. Fringe Festival Passes/Tickets
Single Tickets: $20 + no required Fringe button
A People’s History, by Mike Daisey: Single Tickets $35, after one show in the 18-show series is purchased each subsequent show is $20
Multi-Show Passes: $72 – $500, multi-show passes not available for redemption at A People’s History.
Fringe Button: $5, not required for entry this year! Button holders will still receive discounts at SW DC businesses.

Tickets, Passes, and Buttons can be purchased through three different methods:

Full-service individual box offices at Official Fringe Festival Venues open one hour prior to curtain time of the day’s first show and close fifteen minutes after the start time of the final show of the day. Shows run Wednesdays 5 pm – 8:30 pm and Fridays 4 pm – 10:45 pm starting Wednesday, July 10 and with the exception of Friday, July 19.

Need help with show selection? Visit St. Augustine’s Church where we will offer a full-service box office in the main lobby Wednesdays 5 pm – 8:30 pm and Fridays 4 pm – 10:45 pm, with the exception of Friday, July 19.

Capital Fringe is presenting four curated productions and a video Arcade. From an unconventional take on Shakespeare, an ambitious monologue on the real history of the United States to the end of the world:

About the Capital Fringe Festival
Today, Fringe’s cornerstone program is a 20-day Festival taking place each July in SW DC, showcasing performing artists across all disciplines. The Fringe Festival has nurtured thousands of local artists and expanded the audience base for live performance in DC. Since its inception, Fringe has presented 14 major Festivals featuring over 48,000 participating artists and served 375,000 of the District’s community members. Fringe has generated approximately $2,275,000 in revenue for artists participating in its annual festival. By the end of July 2019, Fringe will have generated over $2,500,000 in ticket revenue.
