Women’s collective Pipeline Playwrights to premiere magical comedy

Ann Timmons’s 'A Very Present Presence' to be group's first Zoom production.

Pipeline Playwrights announces its first production in its Our Time, Our Stories Zoom production series: the world premiere of Ann Timmons’s A Very Present Presence, directed by Catherine Tripp. This production will be available as video-on-demand, streaming from June 2 at 7 pm through June 16, 2021, at 7 pm (ET).

A Very Present Presence is a magical comedy that opens as Alice’s mid-life crisis is interrupted by a visitation from her long-dead great-aunt, who takes her on a journey through time. And Alice learns that her problems spring from sources deeper than she imagined. This show has everything: ghosts, time-travel, young love, craven lobbyists, protesting feminists, and tricky family relationships.

The play will feature Diane Cooper-Gould, Ty Corbin, Erin Denman, and Jennifer Pagnard. Pipeline will present live discussions via Zoom with the members of the play’s cast and creative team throughout the streaming period. Tickets for A Very Present Presence are available online.
