The winners of the 92nd annual Drama League Awards in seven competitive categories were announced today (Friday, May 15) at the Drama League Awards Luncheon, starting at 11 am, at NYC’s Ziegfeld Ballroom. Hosted by Frank DiLella, with awards presentations by Bryan Cranston, Nathan Lane, John Lithgow, Bebe Neuwirth, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Whitney White, and Christopher Ashley, the event, preceded by a cocktail reception at 10 am, also celebrated four previously announced special honors, presented by Ruben Santiago-Hudson, David Stone, Tracy Letts, and David Rockwell.

First awarded in 1922, and formalized in 1935, the Drama League Awards are the oldest theatrical honors in America and the only major theater awards chosen by a nationwide cross-section of the theater community, including industry professionals, producers, artists, audiences, and critics, who are Drama League members.
And the winners of the 92nd Annual Drama League Awards for the 2025-26 Broadway and Off-Broadway season are:
OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION OF A PLAY: Liberation (James Earl Jones Theatre, written by Bess Wohl; directed by Whitney White)
OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION OF A MUSICAL: Mexodus (Minetta Lane Theatre and Daryl Roth Theatre, written and performed by Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson, directed by David Mendizábal)

OUTSTANDING REVIVAL OF A PLAY: Death of a Salesman (Winter Garden Theatre, written by Arthur Miller, directed by Joe Mantello)
OUTSTANDING REVIVAL OF A MUSICAL: Ragtime (Vivian Beaumont Theater, book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, directed by Lear deBessonet)
OUTSTANDING DIRECTION OF A PLAY: Joe Mantello (Death of a Salesman, Winter Garden Theatre, and Little Bear Ridge Road, Booth Theatre)
OUTSTANDING DIRECTION OF A MUSICAL: Lear deBessonet (Ragtime, Lincoln Center Theater)
DISTINGUISHED PERFORMANCE AWARD: Joshua Henry, Ragtime.
