The Atlas Performing Arts Center is proud to announce Constellation Theatre Company, the esteemed theater company dedicated to telling powerful stories in intimate spaces, will join the 2026/27 season as a Resident Arts Partner on September 1, 2026. With missions that are aligned, this partnership affirms the combined commitment of Atlas and Constellation to advancing artistic excellence, equity, inclusion, and community engagement.
Since 2007, Constellation has brought to life numerous diverse and vibrant stories. Constellation received the John Aniello Award for Outstanding Emerging Theatre Company from the Helen Hayes Awards in 2009 and the prestigious National Theatre Company Award from the American Theatre Wing in 2013. According to Metro Weekly magazine, Constellation “does some of the best, most adventurous, most reliable work in town, all presented on an epic scale with a level of intimacy that can’t be beat.”

As a Resident Arts Partner, Constellation Theatre Company will anchor Atlas’s performance season while sharing office and administrative resources alongside Capital City Symphony, Mosaic Theater Company, Solas Nua, and Visionaries of the Creative Arts (VOCA). This partnership exemplifies Atlas’s commitment to collaboration and innovation, offering the organization a flexible, supportive environment to ignite new ideas and creative growth.
