Nathan Pugh is a writer, journalist, and culture critic who is also gay, biracial, and Filipino American. His writing focuses on identity in performance both on and off the stage (with special attention paid to race, sexuality, gender, and nationality). Bylines include

Edge Media Network. In May of 2021, Pugh graduated with a BA in English and theater from Wesleyan University, where he also served as editor-in-chief of
