Nathan Pugh
Nathan Pugh (he/him) is a writer with experience in journalism, criticism, and arts administration. His essay “Why I Left the Kennedy Center” was one of the most-read American Theatre articles in 2025. Pugh’s bylines include Washington City Paper, Smithsonian magazine, Equity News magazine, 3Views on Theater, 1 Minute Critic, Theatrely, and NPR. He is currently a student at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, where he’s getting an M.F.A. in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism.
