Indicoe is partnering with Woolly Mammoth Theatre to host a networking event for artists across multiple disciplines

After launching seven months ago, arts organization Indicoe is hosting its first event: an Artist Mix N’ Mingle at Woolly Mammoth Theatre on June 16th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The event is held in conjunction with Woolly Mammoth’s production of Botticelli in the Fire, a play that explores the role of an artist in rapidly changing and turbulent times.

Indicoe co-founders Kemi Adegoroye and Claire Ryberg have expressed their excitement to partner with Woolly Mammoth for the Artist Mix N’ Mingle. “We are thrilled to be hosting our debut event with Woolly Mammoth, a theatre company that is characterized by creative and ambitious productions that push boundaries and challenge one’s thinking,” they say. “Botticelli in the Fire is an example of such creative work, and we are excited for the after-show discussion about what it means to be an artist, not just in an ever-changing society, but throughout one’s life and career.”

Representatives from several local arts organizations will be in attendance, involving disciplines that vary from film and video, to acting and music. For those interested in seeing Botticelli in the Fire, discounted tickets are available with a promo code, which can be found on Indicoe’s social media pages on Instagram and Twitter at @indicoecollab.
